The holding company of the Gardline Group, Gardline Shipping Limited (GSL) was established in 1969, to provide marine support to a flourishing offshore oil and gas industry in the North Sea.
Today, Gardline Shipping Limited is the parent company of a diverse group of multi-discipline organisations involved in a range of activities from marine sciences, security, ship building, dry dock engineering, geographical information systems, green energy and digital mapping, to satellite communications and marine satellite TV.
The Group employs over 1,000 personnel worldwide and has a turnover in excess of £100 million (sterling).
Gardline is primarily a science and technology based group and progresses with considered enthusiasm when investing in technology and new ideas, however we are constantly aware of the possibility of unanticipated change and the consequent impact upon our activities. This careful use of technology underpins our growth; using judgement developed from experience.
